Hey guys,

This is kind of a weird question, but I think the biggest reason I haven't yet seriously considered ordering a binder is because I'm slightly worried about the packaging it might arrive in. I feel like my concern is misplaced, but I don't know. If I we're to order one I'd have to get it shipped to campus and I don't think I'd want anyone at uni know anything at this point..

I've started binding 2 weeks ago using a waist wrap thingy that isn't too bad actually, but it's starting to break down. It's pretty cheap ($7) so its fine I guess I can just buy another one or 2, but I'm thinking maybe its time I consider buying a binder. I wasn't planning on buying one until I've figured myself out though. Any thoughts?

I think mine just came in a mail plastic envelope from underworks. Probably said underworks on the package or some other company name. Nothing that says OMG BINDER on it.

Mine didn't even say "Underworks" on it -- but it was shipped internationally, so the packaging may have been different.

I would think though that most companies are aware of the "private nature" of the goods they sell, and pack them accordingly. Plus you could always contact the company in advance to check with them.

I figured as much, just wanted to make sure. Thanks

Actually I have the same worry, but thankfully, most mail packaging is relatively neutral. I hope the strange looks become less for you, not fun.

I'm actually sort of enjoying it. Some people don't seem to recognize me (this has nothing to do with passing though, wish it did), others are just surprised. As long as I'm dressed the way I want to be dressed, or closer to that for the matter, I'm okay with it. At least when I get a compliment it actually means something to me now, not that I remember getting any compliments before, they probably just passed through my ears without second thought. 

I just ordered a new one a few days ago. Mine came in a flat envelope with nothing crazy on it. It's folded and wrapped in clear plastic inside, so even if someone were to open it, they may not be able to really place what it is unless they take it out of all the packaging.

I remember the "good old days", when any gay magazine that came to your house was inside a brown wrapper.  Always.  haha

Like the others have said, Underworks doesn't have anything on it indicating it is a binder.

My binder was from LoveBoat and it came in a blue plastic package.

I just got my binder in the mail. It's coded as a gift and undershirt, so while someone might wonder WHY you are getting an undershirt in the mail, I think that's about as weird as it will get.

Yeah, mine came in labelled as a shirt. Guess I shouldn't have been so worried about ordering one...

Mine came in a simple normal packaging, could barely even read the item description on the actual envelope except simply stating underworks. The express envelope was much the same for my second binder, simple and not overly descriptive. I think all it said was undershirt on the packaging.

I got mine from amazon (UK-based option for Underworks stuff) and yep, totally normal amazon cardboard sleeve and no extraneous packaging whatsoever, fit through the door so I didn't have to sign anything either.
