So I had a long travel home. I dialated around 9 and left Brassards around 10:30. Got home around 7 and dialated again around 8. I'm feeling warm now and kinda scared. Am I catching an infection? Is it just cause I dialated really late and I was tight? Suggestions? Ughhh. Ive been super clean the whole trip!

Just take your temp.

I found I ran warm at night but it was from night sweats mire then a elevated temp.

You also should still be on antibiotics do that should keep infections away.

But if you have a high fever contact the ER or your GP.

Could it also be from the pain killers or hormonal changes going through the body still? I know I started feeling that way and Im still in Thailand 2 weeks after srs+BA.. I asked my nurse and she told me it's normal because my body is going through a lot of healing right now and also the hormones going everywhere.

She told me to keep taking my antibiotics which is really important. I also continued taking tramadol and i don't take it anymore because it makes me really dizzy to a point where im gonna faint or black out. I told my nurse and she said I can stop taking them if that occurs.

I also have experienced my first post=op depression last night where I just out of the blue, started crying emotionally lol. I called my fiance and i got him so worried but then i asked a friend who also got their srs with the same doctor next door to me of the hotel and she and the nurse also said that I will be going through all this post op depression and changes such as hot flashes because of the hormones as well as the healing process. She said it's normal as long as I keep taking my antibiotics lol.

The weather outside when I was enroute to home was in the 30's, and by then I was on Advil which for me does drop my body temperature half a degree.  I agree with Izzy (when don't I?) that taking your temperature is a good idea, if for no reason other than to reassure yourself there is not problem with fever.  I used very light nightgowns when I was not actually outside the house.  You are doing a lot of healing, and your blood vessels are bringing the body's healing agents to you on a rapid basis. This means that surface blood vessels are a bit more active.

Congrats on the surgery.

Wiser now about Post Op reality!!

Most antibiotics have a fever as side-effect. Post-op I had 3 fevers in two weeks. Nothing to worry unless it lasts for more than 5 days and/or is accompanied with intense pain / trouble breathing / chest pain. A short fever is the preferred method of the body to kill germs. Lowering fever isn't always a a healthy thing to do, so I did not take paracetamol and just sat through it.
