My electrologist said she can do my eyebrows too. It is tempting not to have to pluck. I really haven't done much with them as I want to go to a proper salon and have them threaded.

But doing electro is so tempting, it would be less maintenance and less pain every few weeks.

Thoughts?

The first thought that springs to mind... what if you later on decide that you don't like the eyebrow shape she gives you? Once those hairs are gone, you're going to be looking at getting brows tatoo'ed back or be using a lot of brow pencil.

I've looked at many different brow shapes and I think I've settled on one after getting bored of my previous shape, and it is taking ages to get some hairs to grow back fully to cover some scant areas for the new brow shape.
Nobody's perfect ...   I'll never try,
But I promise I'm worth it, if you just open up your eyes,
I don't need a second chance, I need a friend,
Someone who's gonna stand by me right there till the end,
If you want the best of my heart, you've just gotta see the good in me.

Absolutely-
I had heavy brows and had mine done so they looked like they did when I was a kid. It works well for me and my female alter. IIRC, my electrologist said it usually take about 4 hours of 15 minute weekly sessions to get them manageable but she just cleaned them up every time I came to see her for my beard. I was so tickled with the results, I got my wife a gift certificate to have hers done for a birthday present! She is in her 50's and has settled on a brow shape, but you might want to go with a more androgynous shape so you have the flexibility to adjust them for current styles.

That's a pretty good point.

Pretty much the same boat most women over 40 are in from years of overplucking back when pencil thin brows were in style. Models tend to keep their brows full and short. Instead of plucking to achieve current fads in shape, they lighten the edges with foundation and darken the brow for the look they want.

Waxing $12 and 5 minutes of discomfort every 8 weeks or so is easy enough..
