My Son called me "Mommy" today.

So just sort of out of blue. My son is three years old. We were in the hallway in my house and he called me "Mommy" and ran up and gave me a big hug. He still calls me daddy whenever we rough house and play with his toy cars but today just made my heart melt. He said it three times and grabbed my leg with both arms and held on so tight.

I know that must seem small but for me that's huge. It's like he recognized that I'm changing and he's not only okay with it but what's more he loves me and is so excited to see me.

Omg!! Ahh :D happy dance, as soon as I read that I was like aww it's my dream come true.  I've wanted a child of my own someday and hope I will be lucky enough to hear that.  Such a wonderful thing to hear.  Congrats

That's not small at all! I mean at the core of it, all any of us is trying so hard for is acceptance. What better way to feel like you're accomplishing that goal than through the acceptance of your own kid? Kudos to you girl! Keep rocking and thanks for sharing <3

April 22, 2015, the day of my first face to face pass in gender neutral clothes and no makeup. It may be months to the next one, but I'm good with that!

Being transgender is just a phase. It hardly ever starts before conception and always ends promptly at death.
