This certainly seems like my day for asking questions I guess but here is another that I've not ever got around to asking.

My administration method for Estradiol Valerate is by way of the Vastus Lat., and so far no pain, no problems of any kind.  The question that has been sort of a low level concern is how a walking routine may affect E absorption.  I like to go for a 4 or 5 mile walk in the evening and since hrt I've adjusted my walking schedule so I have a relatively sedentary coulple days after injection.  I also wonder if the oil makeup takes into account that some people are more active than others, which for me would mean no gaps in walking at all.  Just curious, like I think I've said before, if I were a cat I'd have been dead long ago.   ;D  Dani

and just so its understood, either way I'm happy, a slow day or two is a nice excuse for a little pizza and movies   ;)

As long as it isn't uncomfortable for you to do so, walking on injection days won't cause any problems. It really won't cause any measurable difference in E absorption rate.

Thanks Shannon, I was mildly concerned it may speed things up if I walked to soon (first or second day).  Good to know, so much for the lazy pizza days.  :D

I used to do the same thing after the injection. I would let it heal for a day or two before I would exercise. If anything  the exercise probably causes the Estradiol Valerate to begin distributing throughout your body more rapidly. I think the injections are the most effective way to take estrogen.

I think the reason 14 days between IM injections (delestrogen) is to long is I walk at nigh with a 40 pound pack, walk up 10 flight of stairs 5 days a week and destroy my core with exercise 1 time a week. Perhaps I just metabolize it fast. I exercise after injections. I wait an hour or two though.

Agreed, I used to have a 14 day cycle until a few severe crash and burns in which the mental landscape devolved (without notice) at the 11 day mark.  By the 13th day I was a mess, so I spoke with my doctor who agreed with me that keeping my dosage the same but changing the cycle down to 10 days would solve this problem.  As to the exercise thing, I'll just experiment some and see where it goes.  Thanks,   Dani

If it's not strenuous exercise it should be fine, I mean it's E not T plus walking is pretty good for reducing risk of blood clotting.

T is the one that is bad for over exercising, iv heard of guys that have blown muscles n popped blood vessels n all from over doing it.

But yum pizza mmm
Thank-you scorpions...

For looking like Goth lobsters.
