So I had an interesting conversation today... I was chatting with an ex girlfriend of mine and it was originally just me messaging her to see how she was doing. She asked me about my last relationship and I filled her in on how it ended without directly saying it was because I was Transgender... and she says this, "So are you taking hormones again?"

I was floored.. I mean I haven't even begun hormones, and I had started the conversation with her with the intention of coming out to her.. but here she just jumped right to that conclusion, immediately following that question with an assurance that it's okay with her if I was because she has 3 other Transgender friends.  The reason she had asked was because she noticed how more feminine I was looking in my pics on Facebook since we had been together. lol  So, I came out to her and gained a new ally! Life is funny that way..the people you don't expect to be on your side end up being your most avid supporters.

Yup! I was very excited after that conversation.. left me feeling pretty good!  Tomorrow I have my next therapy session and support group meeting, plus it's payday and I'm doing a little femme shopping... going to be a good long weekend!
