Torn between the Aorus x3 plus (13.3"  3k screen nvidia 870m-6gb) or the msi gs60 QE ghost (15.6" 3k screen nvidia 940m-3gb, groovy funky multicoloured backlit keyboard) all other specs pretty much the same. Would be connecting to external screen at home. Would be using for.... Ah.... Work..

Any advice / experience?

Both would do gaming well, I would personally go with the MSI.  Although, if I was going to invest a lot of money into a gaming system, it would be a desktop.  Laptops you cannot upgrade easily and if things go wrong.. well, it's over.  I am stuck with a laptop, but next year plan on getting a desktop to replace it 🙂
