I am looking for SRS surgeons in the Washington, DC area... anyone know of any?

Think insurance would cover the procedure out of the DC area?  Just curious

I assume it varies policy to policy.

I heard there was someone in Baltimore that started doing surgeries. Not sure about the name, since I heard this after I'd already chosen my surgeon.

I went up I-95 to Philly. There are several surgeons there - Kathy Rumer, Sherman Lies, and Christine McGinn.

Alas no. I needed to save up. My insurance doesn't cover SRS.

There is no one in D.C. doing SRS.  There is a surgeon doing FFS (personally, I don't like his results, but others do). 

Whether your insurance will cover it or not depends on what your insurance policy covers.  Check your plan booklet or call your insurer to find out.
