I'm really unhappy with my T changes. I look at all these guys before and after pics and they have had great changes and really masculized a lot.  When I  look in the mirror I see a butch lesbian. And if I shave my face, I totally look like a butched lesbian and I get mis-genderd too which is why I never shave anymore, I just trim now.

Know we can't talk dose, but have you been up front with your endo abt your frustration? Might be that they've got you on too gentle a dose, and that they'd be willing to up it.

Yeah, I've talked to her about my frustrations and she tells that I look masculine and that I've had a lot of changes and my voice is really deep(it's not really deep though) and that some guys  just can't grow fulls beards and episodically if they haven't had a hysto yet. Also, my concern was acne with a higher dosage and I've already scared up from that so that might be another reason why my dosage isn't higher, but it is still in the normal male range she said, just not in the high male range, maybe in the low male range. She also said I was under-treated for about 2 years b/c  my dosage wasn't right. When I was getting my shot every 2 weeks, my levels were up and down. Now I get my shot every 10 days.

I don't know if it's b/c I have long hair or what, but I've seen lots of trans guys with long hair and clean shaven and they don't look like a butched lesbian. I shave and I look like one.

We've seen photos and videos before and you look entirely male, not just butch.

You've been around since I came here, and from what I've seen over the years, you pass to me.

That being said, I understand your frustration. I pass 100% in Asia but as soon as I go back to the states I don't. Like you, I've been on a lower dose than I should be but it's due to my location more than anything else.

Since you've been unhappy with your changes, is there a chance that you can change doctors?

I agree with Lxndr. Some time ago you posted a video and you looked and sounded all male to me. It's very strange you get misgendered in real life.
I do understand the non-shaving part, though. I too have facial hair and I'm really afraid to shave it off. It's a good thing beards are kinda hot nowadays. Also voice wise I was not happy. After 1.5 years on T I am still getting misgendered on the phone. So I went to a speech therapist who measured the frequency of my voice. Apparently it was 103Hz which was right in the middle of the male range (70-130Hz). This shows that T did its work and it is likely the way I talk that ruins it for me. Next step will be to get some speech lessons. Perhaps this would be an option for you too?
Also, dosage has little to do with T levels in the blood. Sure, for most (not all!) the more you get the higher your T levels will be, but as with many things, this is varies from person to person. I used Androgel and was on 1/4th of what was considered a normal dose and still my T-levels were higher than the  maximum. So if your doctor said your T-levels were in the male range it seems that there's little to gain for you dosage wise. The last thing you want is high T levels because extra T will be converted into estrogene.

I've had long hair all my life, for the last seven years it's been in dreadlocks. I'm blonde, too. However, I pass very well. I think it's the rock n roll look. Also, I'm 52 years old, and I still get carded if I want to buy a beer. Lol. Keep your dosages lower, you can flip over to having the oestrogen take over again. You do much, much better to be a little more patient.

I'm not unhappy at all but there's a couple of things that still bother me.

I don't know how old you are, what your dosage is, or how long you've been on T but I would give it more time. You may look totally different even in just a year from now.

I wish I could help you with the cost, but I really have no idea. My insurance is covering it.
Perhaps you could speak with your doctor about the options?

I've been on T for around 14 months rand haven't noted any changes except an increase in my sex drive, body hair and smell changes. I did have a slight increase in musculature in the beginning, that went away after my doctor changed me to Reandron. In fact I'm pretty sure Reandron is why I haven't noted much at all, the T level I get from it is less than half of what the T I started on let me have, and for some reason my E2 level doubled in the bloodwork I had after the end of my first cycle of Reandron, and has kept increasing each time I have had bloodwork

No, she switched me to Reandron, from Primoteston because she didn't like it that on Primoteston my level was in the high range

I'm ok with my changes for the most part, though I feel like my voice has reverted back slightly and got a bit high again. But I could be paranoid, I need to wait and see my next check results to put my mind at ease though. I've been reading a bit about people's levels dropping

I have some baby fat on my face and I wish my jawline was more defined. Not sure if it's genetics or it's cause I'm still in adolescence, but I hope it goes away when I'm older..
