I have a really hard time trying to hide my beard shadow after shaving, even tho it doesn't grow properly, I usually use a ivory Concealer followed by my usual foundation to try n hide it but some of it still shows, like on the top lip, so my question is are there any better ways to hide it? 

I would try a different concealer and foundation. Something that is full coverage.

Seconded. I grow facial hair pretty strong still, but found the right skin product to cover it to my satisfaction. Still, I can't wait to get electrolysis...

you need to get help with it by a professional at first.
The trick is using a lipstick to get rid of the blue tones.

Some go for red, others go for orange, some go for pink. Your concealer tones will help as well.

Your shadow isn't black, have a close look under good lighting after shaving and have a look at the tone, it'll be a blueish tone, the thing you need to do is get that to match your skin as close as you can.

Like I said, see a professional, go to a department store, go up to the make-up artist there, mention what you want to do and you need help finding the right tone.

Wow lipstick really... Ha I would have never guessed.
I guess I'll ask around, do you think they would know what Im talking about, I mean it sounds pretty unconventional... I'll try Google first

I have been doing the lipstick trick, as well.  I would mark vertical stripes, maybe an inch apart, across my beard area, then use my fingers to blend it all, until my beard area is a light pink.  Then, I would apply concealer, then foundation.

I have been using Ben Nye concealer and cake foundation, but after six laser hair removal sessions, I think I may be able to jump straight to the foundation step now and find a better liquid foundation.

I'm totally clear now but I do remember trying to hide the dreaded shadow.

If it is heavy shadow try Dermablend. It will cover tattoos so works no problems on shadow.

Yes to the red lipstick trick but also try green.

Shisedo use to sell a foundation of a green base followed by a beige base that gave great coverage. It was expensive but worked well.

I know this may be hard for some new girls but if you can pluck up the courage go for a professional make over it really helps. To be honest when I did my heart was in my mouth but I reached the counter and they were totally into helping me.

It was a great day.
