Hey guys,

So I've only been wearing by binder for two days now. I can breathe fine and all of that, I actually think that if I manage to loose a bit more weight I can go down a size, I was in between sizes and decided to get the bigger one. I went to the gym a few hours ago, after having worn my binder for about 12 hours (not good, I know), but I did change into a sports bra and I felt fine throughout, but when I was done with the work out (an hour of high intensity cardio) I felt like my lungs were feeling pretty uncomfortable/a bit suffocated for a while. That lasted for about 15 minutes and I'm feeling alright now (and back into my binder), but I was just wondering whether any of you guys get this feeling or should I be worried...

I've been binding for the last 4 weeks, just with a neoprene wait wrap thingy, not with an actual binder.. You'd think my chest would've gotten used to it though..
I'm trying to be somebody, I'm not trying to be somebody else.

Even if you feel fine while binding, chances are that your breathing is restricted. It's recommended that every time you take your binder off, you spend a few minutes doing deep breathing and coughing, to get rid of whatever crud has accumulated in your lungs. It sounds like that might be the solution to your problem (that, and not wearing the binder so long... )

Thanks. I usually hit the gym in the mornings instead of the evenings, maybe I'll just stick to doing that if I get this feeling again..

Perhaps wear a hoodie and no binder to workout in the morning then take your shower and put the binder on for the rest of the day. Least then you can breath during the hard part of the day.

This. I highly recommend NOT binding while you are working out. You need to be able to breathe correctly while exersizing and binding will not allow you to do that. Even if you feel fine, you could be slowly injuring yourself.
