So my girlfriend's family is pretty fun. Her family celebrates TG (lol, TG... dual meaning these days!) a few weeks early because we all do retail, merchandising, etc.

Anywho, We were all there, and the topic of birth and sexes came up, and I was just kinda keeping quiet because I didn't wanna have a big LGBT disgussion at the table. I'm not like that, and I don't stand for being a point of contention. I know I'm not the most passable female being 6'2" tall, and not really good at the voice, but ya know. So the conversation goes on, and someone says "Well, I mean, we DO all start off male." Everyone knew he was wrong (We all start off with female parts and if we're girls, the vag stays, if we're boys, the vag seals, turns into a scrotum, and the little nub turns from a clit to a penis) but everyone looked at me as soon as he said this. I was just kinda sitting there like o.o

Clearly they wanted me to say something, so I just kinda jokingly said "nuh uh!" in the same tone children use to argue back and forth with each other and everyone laughed, and the conversation moved on. So the elephant in the room was quieted with a small joke, and everyone was assured that if they had questions, they could ask them at a point in time that wasn't a family get together. Cuz that ->-bleeped-<-'s awkward.

I just wanted to share that.
I hope everyone in the US here has a good holiday, including those spending it without friends or family or whatever. I've been there so I'll be thinking of ya.
Toodles!

I'm guessing here, but maybe he's equating life as starting with a sperm cell, which he considers a male beginning? Don't know!  :) Happy Thanksgiving back at ya!
