I'm sure everyone, during transition, has found "gems" they take pride in finding. I'm talking cheap/effective products, things that were meant for other purposes that worked well for you, or simply places to purchase that helped you create a great wardrobe! Lets all share, let everyone else know if you found the perfect hair removal tool or budget make-up! Whats the secret to your success?

Cheap? Just look for that one thing you really like, and then search for it in E-bay to see it for 1/3th the price :P.
:D Want to see me ramble, talk about experiences or explaining about gender dysphoria? :D

Just remember that cheap makeup can ruin your face very quickly. It is best with that to go with good quality products even though they are more expensive. They tend to look better also. Transition is just not one of those things I will scrimp on. I want the best because anything less could be catastrophic. :)

I disagree on cheap make up and I like some of the ELF line at Target... Particularly I like their eye liner pen for 1$.... Its better for me than anything else Ive tried and Ive tried em all ;) They also have great brushes and a tinted moisturizer I like too...

The beauty industry is built on more LIES and more BS than probably anything else ever in all of time!!!

Also Plato's Closet is a fun place to shop and sell clothes on consignment...

I will second the ELF eye pencils but I bought it at Weis markets. In fact it's better than a $6 covergirl pen that I bought.

Here in Houston and in other cities there are Dillards clearance centers. They carry a variety of clothing and home items but are 75% off regular price. Lots of finds if you have time to browse rack after rack of clothes that are sorted by sizes. Additional savings can be had during the holidays. It's a good way to pick up nice items at a fraction of the price. It's one of those little known gems. Other great places for clothes are TJ Maxx, Ross, and Marshall's.

Burlington coat factory in Chelsea NYC is great. I love to hang out in that part of town too. :)
