Also, do I pass better with eyebrows? With longer or shorter hair? Any tips? Thanks so much. (Ordered newest to oldest, just scrounged my computer for pics.)

I'm very deep in the closet and have been since I was like eleven so I just hope no one finds this post.

I'm not wearing makeup in any of these (except eyeliner in the 2nd to last). My face is just not naturally androgynous.  :-\

Are you kidding me?  You have a great face to start with; a bit of T and you'll look amazing.  I'd say eyebrows, but shorter hair.
My gender problem isn't half as bad as society's.  Although mine is still pretty bad.

Eyebrows for sure and you are not a lost cause. T generally works well with time.

Thanks so much for the major confidence boost. My SO's grandmother told me the other day that I'm not androgynous and I look like a girl (after I said I was striving to look andro), and the few friends who know I strive to look less feminine often tell me that my face shape prevents it. I think the first selfie might have just been on a very good day. Again, thanks for the comments.

I don't know if you can see it as a compliment or not but at first I thought you were MtF lol (especially for the eyebrows) try to grow them back I know there are ways to grow them back faster just look for it on google or youtube! Testosterone is really powerful and it will help you a lot too!

Wow, I do take being mistaken for MTF as a huge compliment. I'll grow them back. I got the idea to shave them from David Bowie since it made him look so androgynous and alien, but I guess it works on DMAB's better.

So eyebrows and shorter hair. Thanks for the advice everyone.  :)

I thought it made Bowie more feminine , just my opinion, actually I wanted to look like him

Yeah, good point about Bowie. It would be great to look like him, wouldn't it?

My SO is now saying that I only look masculine in the first photo due to my facial expression, and that my best bet would be a moppy haircut + grow back my eyebrows. It's all so confusing.

Could it be that the friends an family you talk to have a bit of an agenda? Not in a malicious way, just subconciously wanting to see more feminine then masculine?

But to reassure what others said here: T works miracles :p I've seen before pictures of guys that completely shocked me because now they look like cavemen :p

I actually think you look pretty good in the first picture, leaning towards more male in my eyes even. I think the shorter hair really works for you. And expression does matter, I feel I pass easier when I look angry/serious then when I'm happy and smiling. However since two months I've also passed when happy and smiley :p But if you intend to get on T sometime it will defenitely help you pass a bit better. In the end I get the impression that guys on T will pass at some point, for some it takes a bit longer but I think most will pass eventually.

Heh.  Shaved eyebrows.  Unless you are Amanda Palmer or my old roomate, avoid them at all costs.  It's too melodramatic.

You'd look awesome on T dude, don't think your face is too "feminine" . Short hair but not too short I think.
I'm trying to be somebody, I'm not trying to be somebody else.

I think your face looks fine. The bra straps have to go, though ;). I think you're close enough to androgynous that it's now less about your facial looks than about how you are. You could be very convincingly masculine by acting and speaking like a guy. Study males and how the use their faces, speak and move.

I would have actually believed it if someone said those last couple pictures were of a teenage boy. With a bit of T you'll really get great results :)

Thanks so much everyone.  ;D  Looking forward to the day when I pass...or at least confuse someone for more than a minute.

Honest opinion:

The first pic looks pretty good. I would say a nice haircut would work wonders. Your current cut if that is a cut kinda gives you away a bit. Definitely grow your eyebrows in. They are a major gender cue.

The last two look a bit feminine but as Serena said you look more like a male failing MtF. The last pic in particular what throws me off is the femme cut top/shirt or at least the appearance of it. Toss on a T shirt or something guyish like that and it will change the total perception of your face and body.

T should harden your skin and face to some degree. Some facial hair if you are into that will also go a long way, and that should happen on T.

Thanks so much. I need to find a good haircut...

The shirt in the last pic is just a regular black button-up, but it would probably have helped if I wore something under it.
