After being on hrt for a period of time, I noticed that the music that I enjoyed listening to became broader. I used to like mostly rock music and some pop, but now I still like rock music but I absolutely love pop music and even some country music. I have also noticed, and im kinda worried that its just me but my view point in songs has changed from the, I guess the best way to put it would be from the hero to the heroine. The person that is being held instead of the one doing the holding for example. Has anyone else experienced anything like this?

I'm listening to Venus Flytrap's "Visa For Love" right now and I never thought about it but I do think of me being the one a guy suits and pursues... but only if he is good to me. I don't know if it is built in to my thinking about that song already because the group are transgendered women (Thailand). I like pop music more and I like Janet Jackson's "All For You" song because I was sooooo crazy and crushing on a gay guy from my past--it was over but I liked reliving the memories and what-ifs! Peace.

It would be practically impossible for my eclectic taste in music to widen further than it has always been.

I haven't beem on HRT, but am considering it, but over the last, 2-4 months, my taste in music has broadened from Hard Rock, Alt Rock and Newer Metallica stuff, to more Jazzy sounds like Madness, Classic/Blues Rock like The Rolling Stones, and to many Metal sub-genres, Heavy, Thrash, Symphonic, Speed, Glam and some Death Metal

Genre-wise, no.  I used to listen to just about every genre, and I still do.   I think I listen to female artists more frequently than I did before though.
