By Zinnia Jones (from her blog)

"In my experience, the difference has been substantial. Before, I felt like I was walking a tightrope, constantly making sure my presentation was in perfect balance to avoid being misgendered. But after two years of transitioning, I've realized that I just don't care – and now, neither does anyone else."

I've heard both. I've heard non-passing trans women say that it doesn't matter. I've also heard (mostly passing) trans women say it's everything.

I'll have to say, for myself, that there is nothing like cis people being forced to accept me as a cis woman because I pass well enough that they don't know better, but when I don't, life is livable even if I don't get any dates.
Have you read my short story The Eve of Triumph?

A lot of text to read, to come such an obvious conclusion.

Last week I found a picture from when I was 10 years old. I look female. No brow bossing, nice curved and small nose. Seen from biology, woman are just grownup children, because that is what they advertise to men: I can make babies.
