So I was watching some gaming channels on YouTube... Pewdiepie, Tobuscus, etc... Now I've always wanted to do something similar, I'm apparently funny (I don't see it but people assure me my rants aren't stupid xD) Now my worry is people may not want a mtf gaming channel... If people would even watch :( Do you guys think I should go for it? Do you think people would watch it? I'd probably play everything, Nether, Minecraft, newer games, call of duty, so what do y'all think?

Why let being trans keep you from doing what you love?

If you want to make a gaming channel, make a gaming channel. Your gender identity is just an incidental part of your life. Before being trans, you're a unique human being with your own voice and your own interests, so don't be shy to share those with the world.

(And yes, I have non-trans-related Youtube channels myself.)

I'm familiar with a cisgirl named dodger and she describes herself as a gamer who happens to be a girl. She doesn't like the gamer girl label because it usually means something different. She doesn't try to be any different than her male "competition".

Go for it, but be warned everything on the internet is technically 'forever'. + If it's a channel where transsexualism is a part of the channel and thus obvious you are mtf.
People could get rude and mean, so prepare for that.

Pleased to meet you ;)

That's a good point. Sex and gender don't usually mean anything in a gaming channel. The people in them aren't seen all that often. Its more about the games.

I think that's a great idea! You may inspire others. Peace.

Why would that stop anyone from watching you? If it's what they're into, I doubt they'll care about what your gender identity is. & if your voice is very passable many won't even guess & nerds will probably get a boner for you lol
