Recorded a conversation with someone while I was on the phone using my female name/voice and replaying said recording only to hear a male tone and the old male voice as well in the voice. Sure it sounds a bit feminine but not really and this means I've STILL lost my female voice! :(

What's more is, later today, I have to go out to do some shopping which will require using this lost female voice while presenting female. :( The strange thing is, others don't seem to recognize who I am and are hearing a woman but I honestly don't know how? Is there any advice you can give to me to get back and KEEP my female voice? I read how people have trouble keeping it after getting it... I had no idea how right that sadly was. :(

I just want to hide under a rock, albeit a nice soft fluffy one. :(
If I do go out, I'll post an update on how it went... (via new post)

Have you considered a voice therapist or even voice surgery? Or is that out of reach?
