I read an article today about an extremely rare anomaly  in the species Homo politicus called "backbone." This case was found in Minnesota Governor Mark Dayton when he publicly condemned transphobia directed at children by a hate group called "Minnesota Child Protection League"

This has to be one of the first times a politician has gone further than merely suggesting that trans people have rights like everyone else and publicly called out transphobes and their "Child Protection Leauges", yemach shemam, for what they are: bigots, cowards, and bullies.
