Does the liver get desensitized to estrogen eventually?  I have been on E now for almost a year and at first I got leg pain constantly but now the pain has gone away.

I'm not sure what pain in the legs has to do with your liver. Its my understanding that oral hormones work by being absorbed into the liver. The dosage is high enough that the liver can't process it fast enough so it gets released into the blood stream. Based on that assessment I would say no it doesn't get used to it because its always processing the maximum amount of hormones.

But doesn't also produce clotting enzymes in reaction to E?

It has to be sensitive (sic) to ALL drugs, not just orally admin'ed hormones. Are you getting enough water/sodium (assuming spiro as antiandrogen)?

Yes I drink plenty of water now which pretty much eliminated my leg pain but im just curious if the liver just gets use to estrogen.
