Hello everybody! :)

I am new here! I hope I can find a bit of comfort or support.

I recently started my hormonal treatment but I don't feel good at all.
I feel as if my blood circulation is very weird, especially through the night,
which makes me be awake because I imagine all sorts of things that could or are happening.

Mentally there is a sense of peace, but the way my body reacts during night is just not cool.
I can't sleep and then I get this flashes and I start feeling like I am on a rolercoaster.

I am wondering if this is normal, as in "normal" and I should just suck it up for the first three months (if it ever gets better)
or should I lower my dosage? I was thinking I could split everything in half and gradually teach my body
to adapt. It might be too much of a shock for it all at once.
If I did so, would that be ok? I certainly feel like that would make me less worried.

My doc. prescribed Androcur + Estrogen (orally). - I'm thinking injections might be better but they don't sell them in my country.

Please let me know what you think but also try not to scare me, since I am very easily scared :D

I am looking forward to your answers. :)

Hi Cruzi,

Welcome to the neighbourhood. Someone will be along shortly to  read you your rights and lefts. :)

In the meantime, let me just caution you to be careful playing with your medication doses. It rarely works the way you think it will. My best advice is to make an appointment as soon as you can, if you feel the need and keep a journal of what issues you are noticing. If you can go back to the doc with something concrete, they will listen and either fix your dose or explain to you why things are happening.

When you start you're probably on a very low dose of Estrogen and a normal amount of anti-androgen. So your t goes down but you don't really have enough estrogen to replace it. So you start having hot flushes and things that cis women experience during menopause ^_^
Weird things are gonna happen, talk to your dr, but frankly that sounds kind of normal to me :)

Oh amazing, what's better than menopause in your 20ties. Haha :)

Oh, sometimes I wish there was a button.

I understand that there are major changes taking place but I just thought it wouldn't be so painful,
since many trans girls online talk about it like they are eating candy.

Anyhow...

I have tons of other questions though. :) :) =)
