One of my biggest things I want with t is body hair. It's like my main change that I want lol. I can't find where it says anything on my consent forms of the timeline for body hair growth. I mean, I've got some coming in now, it's definitely dark, but only to myself and not from a distance of like a foot lol. Anyway, I was wondering when can I expect a good amount of thickening/darkening/manly hair to come in better?

That depends...what are the men in your family like?

No one can tell you. It depends on genetics.
But, I will say I'm at 4.5months on T and my leg hair leg hair is becoming quite dense, and I'm barely starting to get a bit of a happy trail. I have a little chest hair on my sternum too, but I had that pre T, it's just thicker and darker now.

I was having dark belly hairs coming in at 3 months.  By then end of year 1, I had a pretty furry belly and my legs were like Sasquatch.  Chest hair is only just starting to appear at nearly 3 years.

I've always been a hairy dude on my arms and legs, even without T. T doesn't seem to have effected those areas.
Stomach hairs started a few months in, but only the happy trail. About a year later, they are really appearing everywhere. Chest hairs didn't start until a few months over a year in. It is still not much (I'm one and a half years on T) but it certainly getting more dense and prominent.

I can look at my brother and say he's not all that hairy. But everyones always told me that I look like my father and that he looks like my mom. So, I know my dads side are hairy, and my moms side are kinda/sorta. Some are and some aren't as much.

My happy trail started to come in at 1.5 months but it's just darkening hairs, and not really alot. but from what y'all are telling me it'll be awhile before I turn into a sasquatch?  :P

Pretty much, maybe not a Sasquatch at all since it could go either way with being hairy or not so hairy.

I agree, I want my hair to come in SO bad. Unfortunately, its an individual thing, so we'll both have to wait and see...

I've never met my mom's dad, but my dad is very hairy, and for the most part I take after him.
Right now (3.5 months) I've definitely gotten thicker hair, but since I'm blonde, a lot of my leg hair isn't visible at all. The leg/arm/face hair especially isn't visible since it's a white blonde. You've got to be somewhat close to see it on my legs, and it's nearly invisible on my arms and face unless you're really REALLY close. I also finally have some happy trail hairs coming in that are (sorry if this is a little tmi) closer to the color of my pubes, which are closer to brown than blonde. I don't know if my leg hairs will eventually turn that color or not, but I've got several hairs by my belly button that are growing in that color now. I, along with my other transguy friend, both have ONE single black hair on our chest by the nipple. I'm 3.5 months with a hairy family, he's 13 months with a very bare family. Mine showed up early on, I don't know about his. I don't know what's with it because it is just one hair, and no others seem to be growing anytime soon.

I just want my hair to grow in XD As a short baby-faced guy I get teased enough for looking young, I want something manly to boast about!

My legs are definitely furry, and that was the first to thicken up...maybe about a year in.  It is so thick that stuff gets stuck in there on windy days  I have some chest hair, and some on my arms and belly, but like CursedFireDean, I am a blonde guy, so the visibility is pretty minimal.  Almost 4 years on T now and still waiting to grow a full beard.  Sadly, my thick, thick blonde mane is disappearing.  I may be bald before I ever have all the body hair I would like...

We just have to wait and see what we get...like everybody else in the world.

The table on p. 33 of the WPATH Standards of Care gives 3-6 months as the usual timeframe for starting to develop facial and body hair, and 3-5 years for the maximum expected effect.

That seems about right for the onset, based on my experience. I don't come from a hairy family, and my body hair started thickening and spreading at around 3-4 months, and at something like 10 months, I now have noticeable hair on my thighs, I'm starting to get some on my stomach, and I have the merest beginnings of facial hair.

It's some consolation that all this is pretty much in line with the official "book times," but jeez, I get impatient!

Everyone is different. Some people don't get that much body hair. For me, I reached maximum body hair levels around 1 year.

I have some pics of my chest for example over the years but im not sure if its okay to post them on here but I had hair coming in even after 4+ years on T , and im a really hairy guy, I started getting hair coming in almost instantly , but it was nothing like the hair I have now. So even at 1 year on T you will prob not have reached your full potential, that will take years
