Androderm and anticipatory anxiety

I went to my GP a couple days ago, and the week before. The week before she took a mid cycle (Reandron) blood draw to see where my hormones were and the such, as all of my end of cycle blood results on Reandron were awful. We discussed those, she said they were far better and probably the best I have had yet since starting T last September. I brought up with her that I don't feel Reandron is right for me and that Primoteston made my level too high, and asked her what my options are from here, also considering my pre existing mental illnesses. She said the only options I have are the types of T one takes/ puts on every day and we discussed how this would be better (hopefully) for me, in terms of not having ups and downs with my T level so much and as rapidly as with IM options. She said try patches first and hopefully we won't need to change your T again. So I will pick up my Androderm tomorrow from the chemist. I spoke to her about my anticipatory anxiety around changing from IM to patches, i.e will my monthly visitor return and will my transition be slower, due to lower T levels. She said she aims to keep my T level about the same it was in the recent blood results and keep an eye out for estrogen issues, the recent blood results had no estrogen issues and she would also like to see it stay that way, but that because I'm her only trans patient she doesn't know if Androderm will cause the issues I'm anxious about. She has never even used Androderm on her cismale patients with low T. She asked me to begin within the next fortnight, earlier better than later and that she will do another blood draw after 1 month of Androderm. But I am extremely anxious. I am somewhat excited to maybe have finally found a T delivery that works for me in most ways but the evil dysphoria voice, coupled with personality and depression problems, is telling me this could go very wrong and that I more than likely made a not so great decision. I am going back to her on the 16th of January and she asked that I start before then, but she really didn't explain how Androderm works and for that reason I may put off starting until after I speak to her directly about it. Does anyone else use/wear/ whichever you prefer to call it, Androderm or another T patch if there are other T patches? And if so, how has your transition been for you? It would be beneficial to know if someone has changed from IM T to T patches, but I understand that is probably very unlikely. Thanks in advance, any advice is appreciated.

Might help get the right people to read if you posed your question in the thread title.
I don't have an answer.

There isn't one for Androderm. Hence why I put it here in the T one.

I cannot speak for the gel, but the patches are not convenient. I was only on it for 2 months and it managed to stop my period, but overall wasn't very effective. The patch dose I was given was also lower than the gel dosage (the smallest patch dose). Another thing about the patches is the tendency to cause redness an itching. I think it took my legs 2 months after switching to injections before the redness and itching to go away. I would recommend gel or cream as the patches aren't very effective.

Are you injecting weekly or bi-weekly? I had a friend who had tiredness issues. He fixed them by halving the does and doing weekly shots. I had problems with other blood work, so I also utilized this method.

Edit: I was on Androderm. I would recommend gel or switching to weekly injections.

Injections aren't an option anymore. I already picked the patches up. They are the highest dose. I have had no monthly since starting T so hopefully it won't come back and hopefully my transition won't slow more than it already has because of Reandron.
