just curious, I've got bad knees so I can't wear too high of heels, but if I could I think I'd go for around three inches

I wear between 3 and 5 inch heels..

My fav pair of boots, are my knee highs with a 4inch heel. To me they are very comfortable and I can wear them for long periods of time..

I do often wear sandals with a 4/5 inch heel too.. but my feet do get sore after a while when I wear the 5inch heels... but ladies do suffer for beauty... so as my roommate says.. take it like a woman.

I'm 5 foot 11. Strictly flats for me. I'd be even taller and less passable with heels, and given my level of dexterity, I'd also be risking my life.

Two (2) to three (3) inch heels are perfect for me. I'm 5'8 and don't want to be too tall.

2-3" being 5'11" anything with a taller heal would just be nuts.

At 5'8" I don't want to add height for daily wear. It's one thing to be taller than most women, but I don't like being taller than men.  For dates with taller men, 2-3 inches feels really good.

I'm 6'1" and I normally wear about 2". But because of work, I can't wear higher due to safety reasons. Plus, anything higher than 2" makes it difficult to drive.

I am only 7 weeks into my transition process and only out to my wife and one other. I am in flats, flip flops, and runners. I am looking for a pair of low boots for winter and will probably end up with a pair with a 1 inch heel.

my therapist is the same age as me and she says she'd end up on the ground if she wore heels

1-2 inches is probably the most comfortable for me but I really like my high heeled shoes too, which are 3-5 inches high.

I'm 6'2".  It's flats, flats or flats.  When my wife wears heels, we're the same height.   Attack of the amazon lipstick lesbians?  Actually, most people assume we're sisters. 

I'm 5,8 and i'm usually wear 4-5 inches high, yes i'm tall in them but i stop care about that some time ago.
I got a lot of stare on my legs and butt tho.

I'm 6'7" and usually wear flats but I have a pair of heeled boots with a 2 inch heel and a 2 1/2 inch heel shoe I wear on occasion. It's never outed me (wearing heels at 6'7"), but I do get hit on more often when wearing them. I wouldn't go any higher for safety and comfort reasons though.

At a client yesterday I was wearing the 2 inch heel boots with my skinny jeans. The owner of the company (who I've known for 10 years and very supportive) jokingly said that I wasn't allowed to wear heels as I'm already to tall compared to him, LOL. Then one of the managers (who also knows I'm trans) said "No, I like the heels!!!" and the two of them got into a debate about it.

My vote varies....

Usually I wear flats.. Platforms, but flats none the less... Though I'm comfortable with up to around 3 inches at max, if I'm going out clubbing or have a job interview. 

Comodity wise though? Flats flats flats and flats... With a bit of platform :3 hehe

For me 3 inch is perfection, although these are beginning to replace them more and more.  They are made by Harley Davidson.

I generally prefer flats; it's just awkward and uncomfortable walking in heels, although I can do it.

The highest pair I own, which are "party shoes," is 4" heeled thigh-high boots. (I also have a pair of 2" kitten heels for job interviews, etc.)

Weve cm here in EU ... ich like 8-10cm very much ... its around 3,5-5 inch.

I think these would cause me a serious safety issue
