(These exchange rates are from the VISA website, so they're the actual rates you'd get if using a VISA card. If your currency isn't USD, your mileage will vary, but should still be good.)

It's getting better (worse for the Russians, but better for us): I looked at the exchange rate again yesterday, and the price in dollars was around $114.

Today, it works out at about £75.68 for Gaspar's most expensive STP. That is a massive price crash, even compared to a couple of months ago (where they were similar to the Peecock in price)!

Yes, it is. It hasn't yet reached Weimar Republic proportions, but it's not good. And it's ordinary Russians who will pay the price for the idiocy and corruption of the Russian government.

I agree it's serious. This is not just a minor depreciation or fluctuation. I get the idea the currency is very inflated when something like $100= a few thousand rubles.
