So a few months ago I said that I have to do a research paper and presentation to my psychology class. It has to be something psychology related and I figured out I wanted to do Gender Dysphoria to educate everyone a bit. I just wanna know if my thesis and questions are good.

Thesis:
Gender Dysphoira, or Gender Identity Disorder by some, is a commonly misunderstood problem that affects a transgender or transsexual persons life and can have serious consequences if left untreated.

Questions: (I wrote and have to answer)
1) What exactly is Gender Dysphoria and who(how) does it affect(a person)?
2) If Gender Dyphoria is a disorder, is it a mental or neurological disorder?
3)How do you treat or help a person suffering from this?
4) How does this affect a young child or teen? How does it affect adults?
5) What is it like living with Gender Dysphoria?
     - For this one I was told to find other resources but also use personal examples.

Basically, thats my paper. Does it look good? I can slightly edit questions and did. But so far, is it properly covering what my thesis is or do I need a bit of work? Any feedback would be appreciated!

The latest DSM-5 no longer calls it a disorder.  It's called gender incongruity now.

Professionals seem to agree that there is no "cure".  In other words they can't talk you out of being transsexual.  In many cases fighting strongly against your gender identity only strengthens it.  With that said, some transsexuals can go through their entire lives fighting against the gender incongruity without showing it externally.

I suspect that after a complete social, hormonal and surgical transition there is still a bit of incongruity remaining.  If your childhood and puberty goes against your perceived gender that will always be a bit of a sore point.

Yes, a few points the Dysphoria is the issue, the distress one feels because of the incongruity between body and mind, being transgender is not the disorder.
For the range of treatments, you can get a copy of the WPATH guidelines Vol 7, free online and it explains the wide varity of medical, pharmacological and surgical interventions available, along with therapy.

For what is it like for an adult, Dr Anne Vitale Ph D has a good paper online in which she discusses how GD affects MtF transgender people at various stages of life. I believe its called  "Notes on Gender Role Transition based on the patients she has seen.

Good luck on the paper.

Well thanks for the update there. Hmmm. Gender Incongruity. Sounds smarter :) Will edit the name then, thank you. Will go online cause I'm not an adult yet and therefor don't know. I did check out 6 books all related to my paper at the library though, so they better help!

Looks great Latrell!

If you need a review person, feel free to PM me. I'd be happy to help dot the Is and cross the Ts. I'm sure there will be plenty of others up to the task too, or as source material.

Good luck!

P.S. Personally, I would have to say that the only "cure" - once GD has been diagnosed - is transition, but that's a personal and non-professional opinion.
