Hey Girls,

I was at my Dad's side of the family's Christmas Eve party today and had an amazing surprise. Only people I have come out to are my Mom, and my Cousin. When I came out to my cousin I told her I didn't care if she passed it on to the family. Apparently she did, cause when I arrived everyone was calling me by Female Pronouns. It honestly made me stop in my tracks, as most of them are super Conservative Types, with little care for the LGBT world.

I don't celebrate Christmas, but if I did this is all the present I need. I'm actually tearing up just thinking about it, as I never felt good about myself till I started this journey and always expected rejection.

Anyways, enough rambling.

Well that is pretty awesome. My family knows and even the supportive ones screw it up constantly. The only one being even close to consistent with "she" is my mom and she still calls me my full male name by default when she gets angry about something.

I don't really mind too much when my mom calls me by my male name as my male and female names are so close. Patrick/Patricia (My name has strong personal attachment to me(I was named after my cousin patricia who passed away the night of her high school prom).
