Does Die Hard count as a Christmas movie??

I was watching The Santa Clause last week (an utterly shameful admission to make I know, but I was bored and unwilling to get off the sofa)... it disturbed me that the elves were so nonchalant when Tim Allen arrives at the North Pole in the Santa Suit, meaning that the previous Santa was clearly deceased. Previous Santa was dead and the elves couldn't give two $#%&s!

There are so many I love it's hard to pick just one as a fav. but I'm going with...

does an episode of the early Twilight Zone count with  Art Carney as a alcoholic Santa Clause with amnesia .

Well, if we are going to include television shows (even though it's a cartoon), I would have to mention the Talespin episode, "Jolly Molly Christmas".

I never thought of Better Off Dead as a Christmas movie. I'll have to pull it off of the shelf. Ever seen the "sequel", One Crazy Summer? Mostly the same ensemble cast, but no continuity. The actress who plays John Cusack's grandmother always reminded me of my mother.

The Nightmare Before Christmas was also pretty awesome.

probably my favorite one is Miracle on 34th st. (the original one with Natalie Wood) or the thing from another world because it was filmed at the north pole (also the original  one) or what was supposed to be the north pole

it's turbo time

nobody has mentioned 'the snowman and the snowdog' animation yet, is it not well known in the US? its a shorter length film-just about right but love watching this especialy at christmas.
recommend everyone go look it up now but be prepared to cry unless are one of us emotionaly challenged folk  ,its a amazing animation,am obsessed with it.
