I was just wondering about others results from the facial recognition sites. I use Pictriev  quite a bit and I have to wonder sometimes about the results. The vast majority of time I'm gendered female which is an ego booster, but when you look at the star look a likes it makes you wonder if there is something amiss , just curious how others feel about the results and reality

Well that ruined my day.  Used a rather old pic of me and got 92% masculine.  That does it, not looking in the mirror again until after 2 years on HRT

Don't feel too bad. I got 99% masculine 1% feminine. What a joke. It even posted pictures of other people that look nothing like me, they were all men too! 
I'm not posting any photos but all I'll say is that I was born a woman. That's my story and I'm sticking to it.

All I'm saying is don't rely on it and certainly don't let it get you down!

i actually like my face, minus the yucky facial hair.
Apparently i look 83% like someone named Giovanni Ribisi
and he looks pretty feminine to me.

Well at least you got 92% feminine unlike me and my 99% masculine !! 

This is really interesting as I have tried uploading a pic pre HRT (make up and hair) and post HRT and the percentage of attributes do show the difference.
I got almost 50/50 pre HRT and post HRT will range between 96 - 98 % feminine.

Oh boy - however, I do agree that this is not the be all and end all of womanhood.

I don't waste my time with those stupid things anymore. It's absurd. I go by how the general public perceives me. I do pretty good by that.

Nah, it's just a computer algorithm, working on rough generalities. If I have any shadow I'll get like 98% masculine, but if I'm clean shaven, I'll get in the 90s feminine -- and I'm fairly confident that no one on the street would agree.

Last time I tried I think it was 83% female and 15 years old (aw shucks, flattery will get you everywhere!!)

Also, apparently I most look like Bindi Irwin!!

Well, I just run two pictures which were taken with an interval of about 30 secs, and one showed that I am 68 male / 32 female at 35 years, and the other one was like 38 male / 62 female at 20!!! years. The best result age-wise so far ever . I will take that . Ah, dang it, I am gonna upload that one as the new avatar .

I ran a pic of my adopted daughter through it.. 74% female. 26% male and age 34.. It lies..
