I suspect you are a big city girl. Thus the big city expectations and instant analysis by others. I can say with a fair amount of certainty after living in rural WV, most women there do not wear makeup which is a stark contrast to the NYC metro area where I spent almost all my life.

Now, if occasionally being mis-gendered bothers you and there is a direct correlation between the mis-gendering and mu. Your Hobson's Choice is mu, take it or leave it. Which pain is worse?

Yes Joanne, my case is a strange one. Without makeup Im andro to some people (not all!)  but with it Im considered quite attractive (as evidenced by compliments/male attention) etc For example last night I was out with some girls and a man kept sending drinks over to me, even after I told him Im married!
If I put on foundation and eyeliner and some mascara Im good to go. But see I feel like I should be femme without makeup! I feel like its a lie. I know it sounds mental but I cant help it. I feel if I fix some things I can do away with makeup. Or maybe I have an intrinsic hormonal issue. Im only 32 but Ive already had hot flashes, and weird things associated with menopause. My free test levels are also post menopausal (like less than .01 (cant remember the unit) but its almost non existent so you think id be MORE femme but I have small breasts and andro features naturally I guess. Its very strange.

A poster was kind enough to email me and give me an evaluation and said they would read me as female right away without mu and I have all typical female markers to them, except for my chin and a muscle mustache. Im not sure what a muscle mustache is though. I do agree my chin could be more V shaped. Should I look into this? I felt maybe getting more full round cheeks would push the eye up and be less risky.
