FrostPixie

Hello everyone!
I'm FrostPixie and am returning after a six month hiatus.  Mainly I had left because I couldn't stand some negativity that was going on around here at that time and decided instead to focus on things outside of the internet.  This worked and I am feeling much better now about my outlook on life and just my life in general.  I initially started hormone replacement therapy (implants) one year ago and am happy to say i haven't been misgendered (in person or on the phone) since month three.

Since this past July I have broken through some of my fears around other people, since I was mainly an introvert before.  I still am, but it doesn't paralyze me to communicate in medium and large groups any longer.  I have a wonderful boyfriend/Sir (FtM) who found me at the first party I have ever been to outside of maybe a birthday party or two when I was younger. He is really great, even if 8 years younger!  Didn't find that out until around the end of the first month together.

Mainly I've been spending my time with Him, working, and perfecting various skills. I've gotten back into baking and cooking, now that I have someone else to cook for besides myself and have discovered numerous awesome recipes.  It also helps that I'm able to sneak healthy food into His stomach from time to time to get Him off the junk food He used to eat. Start of the new year, so I need to start exercising.  After a year on hormones (Estrogen + Progesterone only) I have put on 30lbs.  Which actually makes me look much healthier now.  Was 115lb with a BMI less than 18.5.  I think I'm now at 23ish, so finally in the healthy range! Yay!

Work is going better than ever.  I studied hard and was able to get a great promotion.  Meaning I no longer fall further and further into the red any more.  I also should have about three months of solid vacation time to use when I plan to go for for GRS sometime in Q3/Q4.  Still waiting to schedule with the surgeons office.

I hope everyone here had a great 2nd half of the past year!
