This is fourth time I am going to attempt to tell one of my older brothers. The other times I have tried to tell him it didn't seem like the right time or he had recently said something incredibly sexist about women, don't think he realizes how horrid some of the things he says are. I see him every four or five weeks when I drive down to see my mom, since I am traveling there this weekend thought I would give it another go. I have been transitioning openly; he has definitely had to notice the way I present myself is getting very feminine, though he has not mentioned it.  I told my mother and sister 9 months ago so he may already know and not want to talk about it for some reason. It's not like I am required to tell anyone, but I think I need to tell him and my other brothers at some point; seems like it was easier to tell my boss.

I finally got the courage to tell my brother, however right as I started he looked up at me from his wheelchair and said I already know what you are trying to tell me and that he still loved me. I then asked him if our mother told him he said he had figured it out awhile ago. This proves once again that I am worrying way too much about how people will respond. Now I just have to get him to stop calling me Bro, decades of that isn't going just suddenly change just because I asked.
