Hello I am Alex,I live and dress as female full time as a tgirl.I remember it was when I was about 6 years old when it started.Being the 2nd oldest of 4 sons,my mom wanted a girl badly. It did not happen. It was when I came home from school I was about 6 years old,my mom had the make up out at first and decided to dress me as a girl one day.I protested for a little bit at first before she had me sit in the chair doing the make up on me.Then my Aunt Diane came in to do my nails picking out a nice pretty red color after my mom did the make up.I remember my mom saying I looked pretty.I started to get used to it after my Aunt Diane did my nails. Then it was into my room to do the change of clothes,my mom picked out a nice black dress and black hosiery to have me put on.It was a pair of shoes after that. Finally my mom combed out my long hair and put in pair of clip in earrings in my ears.My mom and Aunt Diane said I looked pretty completely dressed as a girl.I thought I was going to hate it at first and I loved it.My mom saw my reaction and said I was the girl/boy.As I got older,I loved living as female and I made the decision to live and dress as female fulltime when I was 14.My dad hated it at first,he saw I was happy knowing this was me.My mom loved it knowing she had a daughter finally.I am considered a daughter/sister in my family.

Hi Alex,

A big Aussie welcome to Susan's family. It's good of you to drop in and say "Hi". Hope you like it here, and you stay for a while.

There is a mountain of information, resources and friendship waiting for you here, you just need to jump in start talking and ask any question you like. You're quite safe here and we are very accepting.

Now that you've come this far, if you're considering transition, now would be a good time to connect with a good gender therapist who can guide you through the labyrinth of transitioning.

Looking forward to hearing more of your story in time to come, but in the meantime, be safe, well and happy.

Lotsa huggs
Catherine
