Hello, I'm Elsa, from Alberta Canada. I'm planning to begin transition in the new year, I'm thirty, a bit of a late bloomer, as they say, but better late than never (also as they say...).

Do I have to post so many posts before I can add an avatar, or how does that work? Thanks.

Hi Elsa and to Susan's. A late bloomer myself. Came out at 56. I'm 66 and have never been happier.

Hi Elsa, welcome to Susan's Place! I'm in Boston. Close enough anyway! Glad you found us, and I see you figured out the avatar requirements.  See you around the site! Hugs, Devlyn

Welcome fellow Canadian. I am from BC near Vancouver. I once lived in Alberta but after 1 winter there I came straight back to British Columbia. Also I'm 28 so we are pretty close in age. I think better to get started as soon as you know you are able to.

My little brother lived in Vancouver a couple of years ago, where he worked on the sky train, slinging coffee. A lot warmer there, on the west coast from what I hear. Yeah, I agree with you, that it is better to get starter sooner than later. Missing out otherwise.

Hopefully we both find success and happiness with our dreams. :)

Hi Elsa ,

A big Aussie welcome to Susan's family. It's good of you to drop in and say "Hi". Hope you like it here, and you stay for a while.

There is a mountain of information, resources and friendship waiting for you here, you just need to jump in start talking and ask any question you like. You're quite safe here and we are very accepting.

Irrespective of your age, now is the right time for YOU. Transition is all about you, become a realistic, authentic and genuine YOU. That's all that matters at the moment.

Looking forward to hearing more of your story in time to come, but in the meantime, be safe, well and happy.

Lotsa huggs
Catherine
