So lately things have been getting emotionally stressful. what with a new years fiasco, and just recently one of my friends just out and told me i didn't look female. needless to say after hearing that my confidence is pretty much shot. so i have to ask. do i really not look feminine?

I think you need to buy your 'friend' a pair of glasses! You do look feminine! And pretty too!

You're "friend" can't see what's in the mirror too I bet(no offence), you look feminine to me Hon.

Often those who knew you prior to your ongoing transformation have trouble seeing the new, true you.  I pass reasonably well, but my sons still see 'ol dad in there and can't give an unbiased opinion.  Don't take it personally (although frustrating)

BTW, you look lovely to me !

Thanks all of you. This means much to me as I have always been unsure, but never as unsure as when my "friend" said what she did.

Am sorry I think your friend is jealous.

Anyway each are there own beacons in the sea of life. No two are the same and never will.

As someone else said, people who knew you as a guy will have a hard time seeing you as a girl. You look girly to me.

You look adorable. Very feminine.  Charming soft, subtle smile.

Not only do you look feminine you are actually pretty attractive.  I would kill for some of your features like your frame and lips. I don't know whats up with your friend but they're wrong.

Totally female. Your friend needs some vision correction!

Wow, ya you are quite pretty indeed.  I'm jealous.  Honest opinion here, you will be very lovely as you progress through your HRT.  Just wait till 8 months in ^_^ Rawr!  Beat those guys off with a stick.

I'm a very honest person and seriously, the first thought that entered my mind was "wow, she's so damn sexy and cute". :P You're gorgeous and certainly do look female - don't let anyone tell you otherwise. <3

Thanks! already 10 months in. i was pretty sure i was progressing ok. which is why my "friends" comment shook me so bad. no changes after 10 months? scared me bad. also no need to be jealous. your profile pic looks amazing

I live in a bit of a rough area, and I'm out a lot by day ... from across the street I often get hollered at, then when I get close, I get the whole 'thats a maaaaaaaaan' pantomine.

None of it affects me anymore.

I think like I've said in other threads, this is a two way street - I *also* need to be patient with others. It would be unreasonable to expect everyone get to behind me.

If *I* relax, people around me *also* relax.

Pick your battles, smile, keep on walking.
