For those on HRT, I wonder if You did notice any kind of change with regard Your music preferences?
I used to be a big fan of all kinds of ambience type of tracks - from movies, games etc etc etc, no vocals, just melody. Now, I do like lyric stuff much more and then again...I have come to enjoy much more stronger and "harder" stuff, vocals included, like All That Remains- Two Weeks, One Thousand Apologies-Demon Hunter, Breaking Benjamin - Blow Me Away, A Day To Remember - End Of Me and such like.

I can't say that I've noticed much difference, except for the fact I like to have music playing pretty much all the time now. Spotify is great for that, means I can chose any genre to suit my mood.

My taste is pretty much the same, but for some reason I can't write dark, moody music like I used to.   Hello, major chords!

How about romantic and a tiny bit sad minor chords? ;)

I'm not sure I would notice, given how eclectic my musical taste is, and how much it shifts around based on my mood or just getting tired of listening to the same genre. The only constants I have when it comes to music are generally gravitating more towards rock/hard rock and Marilyn Manson being my favourite band. I doubt anything is going to change the latter, since it's been the case since I was... 10? Hehe.

Not really. I mean, I've always had a broad musical taste. However, I'm just not really so much in the mood for doom + gloom + anger in my music in anymore.

Don't get me wrong, I still have a place for it (12 years in a metal band will do that), but my heart is singing a happier tune nowadays and I guess my ears want more of that. :)

My Tastes have always been super broad but, I do find that with my general change to a positive mood angry music seems less appealing however sad music is as common as always in fact music that has a sad mood dominates almost all of my playlists an it always has just less anger mixed in now.

I did notice that shortly after I started HRT the first time almost all rap and mindless screaming left my library, it was replaced by alternative metal and rock. My taste in music also started to become slightly more misanthropic, Ænima, Antichrist Superstar, and Around the Fur by Tool, Marilyn Manson, and Deftones (respectively) became my favorite albums. I also got into grungy rock like Alice in Chains.

Music preference for me usually reflects my mental state. Before coming out and HRT I listened to fast paced rap and rock with random screaming because it was a release of frustration which I had plenty of. After coming out and starting HRT the frustration was replaced with mental and physical pain caused by experiencing puberty and lossing support from most family members.

After being forced to quit HRT because I lived in a car. My music tastes went back to screaming but the metal stayed. When I finally got a house to live in the screaming and metal stayed and some punk has began to appeal to me.

I still like all of the same kind of music, but my tastes have certainly expanded over the past few months that I've been on T. I used to listen to a lot of punk, but now I've been getting into more ambient and synthpop stuff. Not sure if it's related to the hormones at all though. Maybe I'm just less angry :)

Same music for me; RnB, Dance, Reggae....
But just started to like C&W (pop style) By chance was at a club on Saturday and heard a young singer who had the best vocal range and control I have ever heard, didn't know her Genre was C&W at the time... She sung across many genres! But her vocals were amazing... So there you go... I must be changing after all these years
