I have largely stopped posting on Susan's.

In general I was not getting what I needed out of the forum and though I found it warm it often increased issues with my GID.

However, I did wish to say that I am excited as can be; and nervous as all hell so I had to post. I fly to CA on Jan 13, Pre-op the 14th, then the big day is the 16th.

It has been a whirlwind, Robin says I am the shortest notice cancellation pickup they've had. I went from "surgery in about 14 months," to "surgery in 6 weeks". Complete with everything that meant.

I had to get two "double laser" treatments of "the area" and am leaving the rest to Bowers follicular scrape (basically my Doc went over the area twice each session with two different frequencies and I did them in REALLY short succession with no damage). I also responded very well. Much hair is gone as gone can be.
I had to get blood tests.
I had lose 12 lbs (DID IT!!!! 900 one day 1200 next calorie diet did it).
I had to get A LOT of cashiers checks.
Book a hotel.
Flight.
ACK.....


6 days to go, only things left are to pay the Hotel and get stuff for the trip......but damned if my nerves are not fraid.

Congrats on the bump up and Good luck!  The time will fly by though since you will be so busy getting ready!

I'm on that long wait currently scheduled for march next year.  I'm praying the same thing happens to me around june when I get my year of real life done

Congrats on getting bumped up and good luck! Please keep us informed (at least me?) because I would love to hear about your experience with Dr. Bowers.  I see a lot of threads about Dr. Suporn, Brassard, etc. but not too many for Dr. Bowers so I like to hear your experience with her.  I'm having my surgery in about 3 weeks with her as well.
