If I was looking for a doctor to help me with HRT and other transition issues I would do a Google search using "transsexual Los Angeles."  When I went there, this was the first result:   http://www.lagendercenter.com/  You might also try a search like "transsexual resources Los Angeles" or "transgender resources southern california."
