I personally don't mind the men's room being a mess. I actually always considered the women's room to be a bit too clean. In the men's room there's usually more magazines scattered around the stall to read and relax while you're in there and it feels more at home. Women's rooms just feel too...crisp. Then again I'm a low maintanence guy.

Magazines in the toilet?  Where is this place?  :)

Male toilets always stink, the stench can be so bad, like in underground tunnels. :o

Women's toilets are the cleanest and we are always reapplying deodorant and perfume, so it smells nice most of the time.

QuoteWith the exception that when a toilet breaks, men will try and fix it. Women will continue to use it. Which leads to a fair bit of grossness in the women's room.

True Dennis, why is that I wonder?  ???   :)

I think we should start a petition, Tink.  Know of any activists who like this kind of work?

Kristi

Hmmmm.... activism = exposure.  No, thank you; however, I know someone who won't hesitate to help you!  >:D ;D ;)

Yeah, I love the smell of menstrual blood and throw up in the morning..

But is it better than the smell of ball hair and urine..?

You have a point but.... most women clean up after themselves unless too intoxicated to do so, while men wouldn't think of cleaning it up. :eusa_think:

I used to clean the bathroom in our store after closing. I always dreaded going into the women's bathroom.

Yes the men's normally had mags, and occasional plugged up toilet.

The women's however had urine on the seats, or around the floor , toilet paper around the seat and under the toilet, plugged up many a times.

Even found pads a few times.

In that room , they had 6 separate toilets enclosed in stalls vs the men's one enclosed and 1 urinal.

And to think if the toilet was confined to just one stall repulses me.

I am just glad I dont clean any toilets at my current place of work.

It REALLY depends where you are. At train stations and places like that, both are equally disgusting. At shopping centres they're both pretty clean from my experience. At school/uni I think the mens is worse than the womens though, so I guess womens win there. :P
  •

Rachael

yep, at uni, the ladies win :D
cept in the union club nights, the cues are INSANE.... and cued loos = messy...

I think this is a good point.  And the quick access is the ONLY advantage I've seen that the men's has over the women's.

The women's are definately cleaner. Men's rooms are disgusting. They do not have toilet seat covers. Everytime i'm in a public men's room, there's pee and a stand of pubic hair on the seat. I'm so revolted by them. Boys are alot more immature with the bathrooms in school. Personally, I'd rather go in my pants than in a men's room.

one time when me and my family were at a restaurant me and my brother and sister all had to go to the bathroom and there was only one toilet in the mens and womens rooms. so my sister went to the womens and then me and my brother raced for the mens room and i won and he had to wait. i must say, it wasnt that bad in there. i guess it had been recently cleaned.

The female toilets are much cleaner and deodorized.  In certain circles & events where peeps from all over the world are congregated, the male toilets are clean too. It depends on where you are.  Toilets are toilets but a toilet in a rest stop in the boonies isnt the same as a toilet in a Parisian fashion event for example.

the women's lounge is cleaner.  i cant believe that ppl will think otherwise. ::)
