I'm just over a month post-op. Since the end of the first week after the surgery, I've just had surgical tape over the areola, which has been gradually coming off on its own. The left one (the one close to my dominant hand) started stretching and is bigger than the other--I'm pretty sure I was stretching my left arm more than I should have without noticing. Last time I saw my surgeon was a week after the surgery, and she didn't give me any nipple-care instructions other than just letting the surgical tape come off naturally. Is there anything else I can do to prevent any further stretching? And is the stretching permanent or is there any chance the areola will contract as my chest heals?

I have such a problem after the 1th operation. I did the correction after the top surgeory. But the seams are still stretched. My doctior says - it's depands on skin, not the treatment. And I have consultations with 2 other surgeons - one befor the operations, he said, I have not the best tipe of skin. And one -  after the correction, she confirmed that it depends on the skin and nothing  specific we can do to avoid this.
