Hi folks,

So tonight I've chosen to come out to a friend on my desire to become a woman. I'm really unsure now on how im going to approach it but it must be said.

When I first felt that she would be the right person to tell, I started trying to think of ways to tell her. As of late she seems to be devolping an emotional connection to me. I feel like this may complicate things as I want her to help me, not get personally involved with me. I don't have a problem in this after the fact but she like likes this me. So yea

If anyone knows any tips or ideas, this would really help.

Well, if you're the kind of person who gets quite nervous and finds it hard to speak, you could write a letter and give it to her. That way, whatever you want her to know is written down, and you don't have to worry about not getting the right words out or etc., and then just ask her if she has any questions or something.

I can't really give any advice on actually telling someone without a letter, because I did the letter thing. But I think just take a nice, deep breath and start off with a small sentence, so it's not a lot of words you have to think over and over again to get it right. Then just take it from there in whatever way you think is best.

Start with how much you trust them and how much your friendship means to you. Then, I have something to share.......

So I told her over the phone. it went quiet for a little bit but she opened up to me and said she understands. She told me she'd be here to help me through my journey. I'm so overwhelmed right now. I'm really glad she could be there for me. She was a little disappointed in the fact that a relationship wasn't in the cards though. But I know that she helping me means that I can help her in return.

yes I did. This only the beginning of my journey and it makes me happy to do it with her. she also told me one of her friend's dad did the same thing and transgendered into a woman. I hope to speak to her for help as well
