Hi all,

My before and after pics are now up on Dr Bart's site, you can see them here:

http://facialfeminization.eu/portfolio/amelie/

It's only when I saw the two sets of pictures that I realised how much my face has changed. I'm so happy with the result! Just need to get a decent hair cut now :D

Amazing transformation!  Do you mind sharing what you had done?  The result is so natural that it's hard to tell.

Awesome :D

I had a consult with Dr van de Ven just this weekend! I am hoping I will have it done before June is out! It all looks so awesome. You look really cute.

Thankyou! I had hairline lowering, forehead recontouring (literally just a shave down), brow lift, rhinoplasty, lip lift and chin recontouring. Dr Bart did suggest the possibility of some work to my jaw but it was just that bit too much money wise, and I was trying to limit the amount of work and potential risk to nerves etc, so I decided against it.

He's nice isn't he? It's quite bizarre having your face measured and studied so much but he's got a real eye for what will help. You must've been in London on the same day as me, it was my four month post-op consultation on this Saturday just gone. :)

He seemed OK, nice enough. I don't know he was very down to business but seemed pretty caring too? It is kinda odd though yea he just asked to sit down by me and started prodding me around and got out his ruler it was kind of surreal :D

I was there on the Sunday though! It was so nice in Canary Wharf, I live near London so I am there a lot but I had not been to Canary Wharf before. The view out the window of his waiting room was super good! I am going to be having a little more done than you I will be ecstatic if I look as good as you do though.

Absolutely gorgeous! You look so pure and natural.
"There was a sculptor, and he found this stone, a special stone. He dragged it home and he worked on it for months, until he finally finished. When he was ready he showed it to his friends and they said he had created a great statue. And the sculptor said he hadn't created anything, the statue was always there, he just cleared away the small peices." Rambo III

Wow thanks everyone for the nice comments. I'm really happy with the outcome, it's made such a huge difference to my confidence, and how people react to me. Like I said it's hard to realise exactly how big a difference it's made until you see the before and after photos side by side, but I was pretty gobsmacked. I didn't realise I looked so bad before! But those photos are pretty unforgiving. I'm starting to see a bit more fat building up on my face now as well from the hormones, so that's helping too. I have a Groupon for a really expensive hair salon in the city that I intend to use next month, I'm quite nervous about it but hopefully they'll do a nice job and I'll get a haircut that makes the most of my new face :D

Hopefully there's a chance I can have my SRS later this year, then that should hopefully be it for me surgery wise.

Amy, you look simply wonderful. And you write so well about your experience.

I did try to determine some of these answers by reading some of your older posts. However, a few questions if you are willing. . .

When was your surgery?
May I ask how old you are?
Will you post follow up photos after your hair appointment?

Kind regards,

Danielle

Wow, that is an amazing outcome. I don't see even a hint of male, yet the changes are really subtle. I don't think I'm going to do FFS, but seeing your result makes me a lot more open to the possibility. It looks like it has taken you from passable to unquestionable, while staying really true to the non-gender-specific aspects of your "before" face. I would love to do that: I still want to be me, but I'll do something if passing turns out to be challenging.

Super-cute!  This is a very close example of what I'm having done for my own FFS this year.  Everything is subtle and natural but combines to make a big difference.  The scope of work I'm getting is nearly identical except no chin stuff.  I get the feeling you're relatively young, but I still look well-below my age so I'm expecting similarly 'youthful' results.  It's so heart-warming and encouraging to see your changes!

I am at the point of researching surgeons for ffs. Dr. Bart is on top o my list. Glad to see the amazing work he did for you. If you don't mind sharing, what was the cost of the surgery? And you mentioned that he suggested some work on your jaw line. Please could you share the cost. Hugs.. Sneha

The brow work and the nose are really rather subtle, but extremely powerful and hugely feminizing.  Dr. Bart did a wonderful job.  I'm almost at the point of scheduling FFS for this coming May: nothing major, just a brow lift, mild forehead recontouring, and rhinoplasty.  I'd be extremely happy if my surgeon could produce results half as good as yours.  Very cute indeed.

A quick question: the hairline lowering - how far was it actually brought forward?

Ms Grace

Very subtle all over but the combined effect is great!
