Does anyone from the New York area, preferably Brooklyn, Queens, Staten Island or Long Island, know of a GD therapist? I need to find one. Presently I am with a social worker but she will eventually need ot send me to a GD therapist before I can begin HRT which I want to do very badly. Please let me know, ask around to others you may know. Ladies I am so greatfull for all your kind words and help as I begin this Journey. I see one in Manhattan. She's really awesome. A bit pricey but awesome. If you want her contact let me know.

It shouldn't be hard to find one in NYC but you'll find them more in the city and not so much the outer boroughs.

EDIT: I'm confused though. You said you're seeing one who is a social worker. Aren't a lot of them LCSWs anyway? Were you looking for a psychiatrist or similar?
