Hi Everyone,
I've had a bit of a break from the forum, I've just been concentrating on me

So I thought I would share a short update on my transition.
I've been on HRT now for just over 7 months and I'm seeing some nice changes, very welcome changes.
But the biggest development for me is I am now full time, well nearly. It's only my work who still refer to me as my male name, although I present as female. I know, very confusing for ll involved lol. But I've been working with HR over the past months and we've now agreed a date, 6 weeks from now where I will be known as Bree. In two weeks I'll be submitting the forms for my legal name change which I'm really happy about.
The biggest and most important thing though is I have come out to my children and they accept me for who I am. I present as female around them and they are ok with it. I have two girls and two boys. The girls love the fact that dad is a girl, the boys I don't think are so thrilled, but they are still ok with it.
A month ago I also had my first surgery, the first of several. A trachea shave with Dr Chettawut. It went really well and it has made a huge difference in presenting as female. With regards to passing, well, I seem to most of the time, I get gendered correctly and don't have any problems. There's still a long way to go though.
So in general everything is progressing well. The most important thing though is I'm happy, and I'm being me which is all I've wanted. And of course I'm comfortable with who I am, which I think is so important.
Well that's my little update, take care all
Bree xx
