Im 7-8 months into hrt on spiro and estra and been skowly getting my wardrobe together ad im at a point of tossing out my old male underwear. Idont know why im so hesitant to do so i guess its i feel its a commitment issue like ive always had and still dealing with. 

Any thoughts would be nice and very helpful thank you all who reply

Agree with Jen. Finally, what you wear or keep in your wardrobe all depends on what you are comfortable with, whether you use something for daily wear or very occasionally or just keep it as memorabilia.
I noticed that when I was able to accept this attitude towards my own clothes, I no longer needed to separate them into two different wardrobes. I could just pick and choose what I felt nice in. I am pre-everything and present male so I do need to keep in mind what will not draw attention, and I can't wear many things I would really want to though.

No pressure to do it, hang on to them if it makes you feel better.

I didn't. My wife bought me some women's underwear, and a day or two later I threw all my old underwear in the trash. I found it a pretty powerful exercise in self-acceptance.

See if any donation centers take unsavory items like used socks and underwear. Some actually do. My place sells them dirt cheap to scrappers who sanitize them, grind 'em up, and use them as filling for cushions, teddy bears, and the like. That way, it's never the end of the line. Maybe that will help with your decision.

It was easy for me. A girl-friend of mine (as opposed to a girlfriend) who typically doesn't wear panties, was all about taking my used underwear.

Among other things that changed with self acceptance, I completely switched to female attire and almost tossed or reycled every male piece I owned.  That was my emotional response and then it became a matter of space as i started to love shopping and this girls wardrobe grew.  I still have some old guy stuff for rough outdoor work and that 'old male underwear' works well as cleaning rags

If you decide to get rid of your old male clothes please donate them for FTM guys in your area or something, or there are websites for trans clothes donations too.

About your choice, I mean if you are planning on going full time, then I would not see why you would need those anymore, but if you still don't then just keep them for a while.

Good idea Serena, probably won't work in my case due to me being 6'3" but you never know! I've still got my male gear after almost one whole year of being full time. I have earmarked most if it for donation to a not particularly well off friend who really likes recycling and second hand stuff anyway.

By the way, mixing a boy garment with your otherwise feminine outfit can look really cute. For as much of my boy clothes that I've donated, I kept virtually all of my t-shirts... and I have a ton of them! A large, boy shirt can look really cute, for example, with some short shorts. Or a men's sweater can go really well with a pair of tight jeans.

I've found that by not overdoing the girlieness of my clothes, I'm read as female much more often.

Holy crap, that's an awesome idea.  I'm so happy I haven't given my clothes away yet!  I think I'm gonna look around town for something like that now, thanks!

I am keeping some of my boy clothes, mostly those that I got as gifts. Underwear will get tossed, most of it is old and busted up anyway.
