I work at a deli and everything goes well most of the time.. until people tell me what others say at times.. Apparently another worker in the supermarket thinks I've caused reduced customer visits, and just yesterday my sister was telling me that my mom was told (I know.. long chain of people) that some guy (of no importance to me) said he didn't want me touching his food.. ERM.. I wear gloves sir so my transhands don't come in direct contact with your food.. At any rate... it did really bother me to know someone said that... wish it didn't but, I am a sensitive human at times..

wow, some people. 

I am sure this "person of no importance" is worse off touching their own food, the grubby bastard !

I want to slap the ->-bleeped-<- out of them!

My friend Arianna worked at a deli, and she also had customers basically saying that they didn't want her touching the food, and insisted that her co-workers did it for her.

Some people are just a**holes. I know how much it hurts. But you just have to have the personal strength to say that you're not going to let the opinions of bigoted a**holes get to you. And that it's not your problem, it's their problem.


And I know the feeling too. When I first started as a poker host at my new job, we immediately had a couple of REALLY slow weeks. And I started getting terrified "is it because of me?"

Do you have cooties?  Because I'm pretty sure that's how I caught "teh trans". /sarc

Seriously, I want to b*tchslap that tool with a fat salami.   I'm sure the symbolism would be lost on him anyway.

I sort of like making the haters uncomfortable.  They really just do it to themselves.   All I have to do is exist, and *BAM* mission accomplished, because they have empowered me to do so.

Could mention that you wear gloves all the time because you are also studying to be a Proctologist and so you are accustomed to dealing with all kinds of a-holes all day

When I was in denial, I went to get a haircut for my brothers wedding. It was at supercuts. There was an effeminate guy there and he wasn't busy. The girls were super busy though. Maybe people didn't want him to cut their hair? I told them I wanted him to cut my hair, because gay men are fabulous with cutting hair. Yeah I just assumed he was gay. I was ignorant. But he seemed to appreciate it.

And indeed he gave me a fabulous haircut that was getting attention from all the ladies at the wedding. The best one I ever had.

Jowelle de Souza doesn't let anyone but her cut hair. And she does a lot of famous peoples hair. They insist on having her cut it because she is good.
