I'm new to the board, but not new to the whole world of transgender.

I'm MtF, pre/no-op.
A Lesbian.
I live in the San Francisco Bay Area.
My transition started in December 2012.
I started self-medicating, but have since gone legit.
Haven't decided if I want surgery or not.
I do want to have kids naturally.

I am a Christian. A lover, a friend to all.  A Photographer, Filmmaker, and Graphic Designer. I'm a Mac. I listen to Rock n Roll. I'm a Libertarian. I'm pale and proud.

Though I am technically transgendered, I've never really identified with the transgender or LGBT community. Being transgendered is only one small aspect of my life. Regardless, I do go through much of the same struggles, that everyone in the communities go through.

A big warm welcome to Susan's Place it's always nice to welcome another sister to our ever-growing family. I'm glad that you have stopped self-medicating and have gone legit and as far as SRS just do everything at your own pace, honey. There are many beautiful people here that either are or have gone through the same feelings and emotions you are. There is a vast array of information and some great resources available here on this site. Everything is right at your fingertips, so pull up a chair, relax and let your fingers do the walking. I do so hope to see you around the forums. I wish you nothing but the best of luck on your journey and may the Angels always look upon you and help guide you on your path.

Today I submitted the paperwork to the courts to have my name and gender change. My court date is April 3, and I'm counting down the days.

Now I am going to look into furthering my transition:
