Aiden In Progress

I got my ReelMagik today! I ordered it the first week of November with a 5-7 week time estimate. It was closer to 9 weeks, but that's including the holidays. So all in all, not too bad. I got the standard model with M7 skin tone. Keep in mind that this is my initial review. It's only based on what I see and think on first impressions. I'll try to do another review after I've been using it for a while. I also posted this on my tumblr if you'd rather check it out there.

It came in a regular USPS priority shipping box. Although it came UPS... Haha.

When you first open the box, there's a business card and a pamplet for the STP.

Underneath the packing peanuts, there's the prosthetic and some cleaning spray. Everything is in its own sealed plastic baggie.

The Aesthetics:
It looks absolutely amazing! It looks exactly like the real thing. It's got gel filled scrotum with movable testicals, realistic veins and skin detail, everything. The shaft even seems to come out around the same place a bio guy's penis would. The only downside is that it doesn't have the movable skin on the shaft like the rest of their prosthetics. This one is made with a different pouring technique so it's a bit simpler, I guess. That being said, it does still have a good squeeze to it.

Excuse the lighting. It's not actually that yellow.

This one shows the color really well.

The Size:
It seems to be pretty true to what they have listed on their website. It's somewhat firm but still kinda malleable. Does have a little heft to it, but it's not as heavy as my CompleteMan prosthetic.

Comfort:
I've only been wearing it for a short time, but it feels pretty good so far. I can definitely tell that something's there, but it's not bothersome or anything. I can elaborate on that more after I've had it a while. I haven't glued it on yet. I'm gonna wear it loosely for a few days before I use adhesive.

STP:
Here's what I'm sure we've all been wondering. How does the STP work? Well, I've only used it once so far, but it worked pretty well. I didn't leak or anything, but the stream was a little weak. In all honesty, though, I think it's because I was holding back some and had it pressed against me a little too tightly. When I tried it in the sink, it made a good stream. The hole is large enough to function but not so big that it looks weird and the cup seems to be pretty comfortable and easy to use. It's large enough that it covers everything (it's bigger than it looks in the picture), so there shouldn't be and difficulty placing it. It's also supposed to be glued on. So that'll help is ease of use too.

Feel free to ask me any questions you might have.

Very nice Aiden :)  I would give you a reputation point if I knew how LOL.  Apparently I can't figure it out, so I will leave it to someone wiser than myself.

Great review, it does look really good.

So far, do you prefer using this or the CompleteMan prosthetic? Which one is easier to pee with?

Thanks

lol I think you have to hit 50 posts. Once I hit 50 the other day, I suddenly saw little green and red buttons under people's pictures.

Honestly, I prefer the ReelMagik so far. It's more comfortable and packs better. This one is definitely easier to pee with. I chose one of the more difficult receptacles for my CompleteMan. But it's kinda hard to compare them too much. They both have different pros and cons. I'll probably use the RM for daily wear and use, but keep the CompleteMan around for play and all that.

Yep, just gave one. I think you have to go from "visitor" to "friend" or something. LOL

i've got a quick question, have you been using the STP with the glue sealed all around? or have you just been pressing it against you? I'm very curious about how comfortable it is to glue the STP on so that I would be able to go throughout the day without worrying about leakage.

I've been meaning to write an update about how things are going, but I kept forgetting. Haha

I started out gluing it all the way around, but it just wasn't that comfortable for me. Maybe I just suck at using adhesive, but I often ended up gluing my thigh to my scrotum. Lol. But for the last two weeks, I've just been putting adhesive on the tab. It works pretty well. Plus I can clean things better that way.

There's not really much moisture trapped when you glue it all the way around. I imagine it's tolerable to most people. But I have sensory issues and absolutely hate any moisture down there. It's probably also better for guys on T since that often dries things up a bit.

So, Aidan, is it now staying adhered all day?  Does it work well enough that you wear it as a "daily packer/STP"?

Hi everybody,
Thought I would chime in.  I received mine the first week in December and I will say, it really is great looking.  I have a RM flex rod prosthetic also and I was honestly shocked that this was as heavy as that.

I have used it with the adhesive for 8-10 hours and it stays in place pretty well.  It does take some getting use to.  I wear it with briefs only though, so not sure how it will work with other types of underwear.  I am a bit paranoid since my flex rod prosthetic moved too much for me and adhesive started to get on my clothes.  This one has not managed to move as much thank goodness.

My only negative is trying to get a full seal.  I have always had a problem with STPs, so I wanted this one for the full coverage.  It does have full coverage,  I love that!  My problem was trying to figure out the perfect spot for the back not to leak a little.  Normally, once I touched my skin with it, it stuck....so not much room for adjustment.  After a few hours, it can move a little and that is how I started to get the leak at the rear of it.  That would be my biggest precaution because the rest of it is perfect.  Maybe I need to start using more adhesive?

definitely looks like it was worth it

I'd definitely say so. I'm really happy with it. I only with it had the semi-movable skin on the shaft like the rest of their prosthetics.

Yes to both of those! I got BT-460 adhesive and it works so much better than the Hollister. And since I only put adhesive on the tab, I can move things around to clean what needs to be clean. So I wear it for 2-3 days at a time before taking it off for a thorough cleaning and to let my skin breath.

What adhesive are you using? You could try letting it cure for a good bit longer. The other day I put the adhesive on before I went to bed, let it sit out overnight, and the put it on me in the morning. It held really well. You could also try force curing it. That's where you apply the adhesive and then take a hair dryer to it.

As for placing, it's supposed to be placed right before the anus. I've been kinda squatting then placing just the tip of the back against my skin before putting the rest of it on. I've also found that the front of the hollow area goes right at the beginning of the split down there, if that makes sense.

Aiden, I am really glad it has worked out for you.  I read how frustrating and disappointing it was to you at first.  It is too large for me and I got in on the recent EZP order, but I know that people really hoped that the RM would work.  Thanks for doing the trial and error for the rest of the guys!  Hopefully people will read your approach and positioning to adhere so they will have as much success as you have.

Yeah, no problem, friend. In all honesty, I do think it's a little big. I don't like positioning it down because it kinda pokes out when I sit. I do really like pointing it up, but my boxer briefs aren't tight enough to keep it up when I'm moving around a lot. If I could change anything, it'd be the size. Other than that, I really like it.
  •

aleon515

It looks too big to me, I believe 4" is about right (just to give you that extra inch or so). I ordered the EZP as well. Hoping it isn't too small. Geeze, why do these guys have so much trouble with size? LOL

Haha I think it's because a lot of guys just want big dicks. They sound great in theory, but they're not actually that practical. For a pack and play, maybe. But definitely not for just packing. Half the time you just look like you have a constant erection...
  •

aleon515

Haha, yes I did know the answer to this. 3 in 1s, it makes sense. I believe play you probably could use 4.5-5. But RM STP isn't to play anyway. Perhaps working on this?
But play it does make sense. Average cisguys junk is more like 5". I don't think anybody needs to be 7"+, that's just porn star stuff. Most guys are not that size.
Not sure re: the whole concept of 3 in 1. Yes, I see the appeal, but IRL not sure they ever work that great.

BTW, transthetics is working on a play device. I think this is one to watch.
