The therapist I'm seeing is a very good one, but I'm apparently the first FtM client she has had in her 10+ years as a therapist. She agrees with me that HRT would be beneficial for me but doesn't quite know how to continue further. I know that a letter of recommendation is required before a doctor would prescribe hormones, but I don't really know too much about what this letter entails.

I was wondering if anyone could tell my what sort of things should be included in the letter or if there are any example letters (with personal information excluded of course) that we could look at. It would be very helpful.
