Hello there, so I'm Ryan, I just came out about transitioning and my families completely okay with it. Tho I haven't told my mom.. Okay getting off the subject, I'm 18 about to be 19 on the 25th. I'm looking into therapists at the moment, but I need help on how to start this? I'm a makeup artist and I mean I'm no where masculine or butch looking lol but idk I just need help especially some opinions from other grans women.

Hey Ryan!

Welcome to Susan's :) Great to have you here - looking forward to seeing you around the forum.

Going with a therapist is indeed a good start. It is a long journey so there is plenty to learn along the way.

The main things to remember in life are Love, Kindness, Understanding and Respect - Always make forward progress

Superficial fanny kissing friends are a dime a dozen, a TRUE FRIEND however is PRICELESS

 Hey there Ryan! Welcome!

Therapists shouldn't be too hard to find. You can try psychology today, or ask local LGBT organizations for local referrals.

If you're in NYC/north NJ I also have a few recommendations.

You and I share the same birth name. I will be  changing mine soon though.

Enjoy the ride!
